Asics GEL-KAYANO 17
Posted: 19/10/11
'i love asics shoes, and i have tried nearly all brands over the last few years. '
Strengths:
i'm an over pronator and asics kayano are perfect for my feet. started with kayano 15, and moved up with each new series...16, now 17. they are without doubt the best shoes for my feet. i have low arches and a 'wide' spread toes, so i like room at the front of the shoe.
my second toe is longer than my big toe so I buy a larger size...if not i suffer from black toe nails!
i tend to have probs with achille tendonitis or heel spurs. the extra cushioning has really helped avoid injury.
i would not consider buying another shoe, they're not cheap but it means i can run without injury!
Weaknesses:
none!! (well, except the price, but other shoes cost about the same)
Overall:
Excellent for my feet! i don't look at other brands, only how to buy these cheaper on-line. as i have been using them for a couple of years i know my size etc and surf the net to find the cheapest options for kayano 17, woman.
but what is right for me may not be right for you. everyone has different feet and different needs, you have to find what is right for you!!
