Brooks Adrenaline GTS 9
Posted: 07/02/09
Updated: 11/02/09
'EXELLENT'
Strengths:
Soft and responsive and feels lighter than the 8...Not as "Hard" as the 8...more like the 7 BUT still the same supportive feel...just the cushion under the foot feels 'softer' than the 8...
Weaknesses:
Hope the softness doesn't shorten the lifespan...I am still doing 10 milers in my GTS 8's and they've got 460+ miles on em!!!

[Update 11/02/09] THE PRICE...UP £5...WHY???

Overall:
I run in the gts 6,7,8 and now 9 plus the ASR 4 and 5...and it feels very simular to the 7 for softness...8 was the hardest...we shall wait and see what they are like in 300 miles :)

Brooks Adrenaline ASR
Posted: 21/02/08
'AGGRESSIVE, STABLE AND WELL CUSHIONED'
Strengths:
The upper is water resillient and provided me with a little protection from the drizzle and the out-sole was very aggressive and gripped superbly- which worked well with the cushioning. Very simular to my GTS's BUT you must break these in!
Weaknesses:
You can run on pavement BUT not for too long, as it feels slightly less protective on flat and hard surfaces.
Overall:
A great off road shoe that you can use on the road but for a small percentage of the time.

Brooks are solid, well-cushioned and the most durable shoes i have ever ran in!!! End of.

[Update 16/04/08] I ran London in these and got no injury, blister or any bio-mechanical injury!! Fantastic!

Overall:
Great training shoe!!

[Update 16/04/08] If it ain't broke - don't fix it!! I have found my shoe!! I run in the gts 6,7 and 8 and the ASR off-road...superb shoe!

'GREAT FOR 5 MILERS BUT...'
Strengths:
Great and fast comfort for up to 5/6 miles light and fast but i'll stick to the Adistar for longer runs.

[Update 20/07/07] Garbage after 160 miles - like an effing flip[flop - nowhere near the adistar shoes1!!

Weaknesses:
After 6 miles, i can feel the ground more...

[Update 20/07/07] None

Overall:
Worth while getting for mid-week 4 milers and great for 3 mile speed sessions...not for the big ones!

[Update 20/07/07] garbage...
