Strengths: Good design, all-in-one unit, collects enough data for later analysis. Pretty easy to use. Excellent value.
Weaknesses: Supplied software fairly poor, but Sporttracks is excellent (and free). Battery life and charging could be better.
Overall: An excellent piece of kit. Compared to the Timex system I had before, having it all in one unit is fabulous. GPS functionality very good, even in central London. Would prefer not to have the charging unit - another cable to forget/lose when travelling. A mini-USB port as with digital cameras on the device itself might be better. Would be nice to be able to set up more than 3 screens. And so cheap now (£130 from Amazon)
Weaknesses: Sizing and colour. Had to take a full size larger than normal. Plus the lime green and black trim is pretty garish.
Overall: Haven't worn an earlier one of this model, but this one feels fine to me. Good combination of light weight, responsive feel from the road and nice and stable. Wide enough in the toe box for my feet, and solid at the back. Decent shoes for racing.
Strengths: Comfortable, stable, light, but above all, good value
Weaknesses: Bright red colour (mens' model) a bit fierce when new
Overall: I was recommended this shoe as the medial post comes far back to the heel which fitted my gait. Since putting them on I've run with no pain or even discomfort. 300 miles on and they're doing great. Not sure what paying more money would get you, at £65 these are excellent value for money.
