Nike Air Structure Triax 10
Posted: 06/05/07
'GREAT IMPROVEMENT ON MY OLD AST'
Strengths:
Lower profile, softer foot bridge, perfect fit with my orthotics, generous toe box, nice colour, I used them straight out of the box for my long Saturday run.
Weaknesses:
None yet
Overall:
I went to the shop with the intention of buying Saucony or Asics or Brookes. Unfortunately, with my orthotics in, the Saucony and Asics felt as though my foot was coming out of my shoe. The Brookes Adrenaline GTS6 felt good. The guy in the shop convinced me to try the Nike and said there had been many improvements since my last pair. He was right. As soon as I tried them on I knew they were right for me. Off out now for a 6 miler. Will report back on how the new shoes go.
[Update] Love the new shoes. Nike have really improved the Triax with the 10+. Lower profile, better ride and the fit around the heel is so much better (for my feet) than other makes.
