Strengths: Excellent features, light weight, simple screen navigation, good software and 3rd party software products available
Weaknesses: Limited memory. If you do multi-sports, in particular cycling then it's possible to fill up the memory quite quickly
Overall: This is an excellent training aid that is fortunately waterproof. It keeps going while you pass under thickly forested routes and has a wealth of information via the easy to read screen. There are also many shops that offer very large reductions on the recommended price.
Strengths: Simple addition to a nano and you can easily workaround attaching the sensor to your shoe.
Weaknesses: Unimpressive accuracy out of the box. For me calibration is a must. I did a 10k race and it reported that it was over 13k. Made my times look good though :)
Overall: The overall package (kit, website etc) is pretty impressive. Still might push the boat out and get a Garmin though
