'NOT AS GOOD AS I EXPECTED'
Strengths:
Light weight, like wearing a pair of slippers, and they look good
Weaknesses:
Cushioning isn't the greatest and blisters are a problem on longer runs, mainly on the instep. I guess it must be where the overpronation bit is pushing my foot over?
Overall:
Was recommended them by an "expert", but not sure its the right shoe for me, and a little pricey to be getting the wrong ones.

'A GOOD STARTER MONITOR'
Strengths:
Good value, clear display of HR, set up for 3 HRzones. Does pretty much all you need for a first HRM
Weaknesses:
Stopwatch is only basic, doesn't store lap times. Also no backlight, so no good at night!!
Overall:
A good value HRM, no fancy GPS or anything. Set it up for maxHR and it sets you 3 target zones, fitness, performance etc, although you can manually change these if you wish. The display is clear enough to read while running (except when it's dark!!). Menus can be a little complicated, but there is a link to the web were they have a very good walkthrough feature to familiarise you with all the functions. It will store the data from upto 7 recent runs (HRmax, HRave, time in each performance zone and recovery HRs for 5mins) although you aren't able to download this to a pc.
