Timex 30 Lap Ironman Flix - T5H431
Posted: 20/07/07
'DOES WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN!'
Strengths:
Indiglo button lights display for a few seconds, so great for running at night or dusk. Stop watch keeps counting even if you need to flick backwards and forwards between the stop watch and the time. Main display shows time, date and day. Functions include time, stop watch, tmer, occassion reminders and 3 alarms as well as the lap counter and lap memory recall.Easy to operate when running.
Weaknesses:
Not sure the lap counter, lap memory recall, lap splits, etc will get used much unless you are seriously training to shave seconds.
Overall:
Great watch, as a beginner though I only use about 50% of the functions. Unless you're a serious runner and spend time on the track, a basic stop watch might do what you want - and save you money! But all in all, am happy with the purchase...great if you plan to never stop running and know you'll eventually get to play with all the buttons...and it's stylish too!
