Asics GEL Nimbus 9
Posted: 27/07/07
'SENSATIONAL'
Strengths:
Very very comfortable. Fits like a glove/slipper.
Weaknesses:
I slightly bit of GLITZY disco look but that seems to be the case with all of the latest shoes.
Overall:
Strange as it may seem but I am normally a size 10.
However in these I am a size 9? Reason being is that I would normally be a half size down for a comfort fit so a 9 and half would be normal, however word is that for a majority of people that these shoes come up a half size bigger than the actual size that is on the packet which means:
I am a normally running shoes size 9 and a half. Asics nimbus 9 - size 9 are the chosen size for a perfect fit for me.
I tried a size 9 and hgalf and my smaller foot which is my left one had too much side movement.
Looking forward to giving them a good test next week with a 10K.
I did a 5K steady on the day I bought them in the rain to wear them in and they were sensational.

Ronhill Advance Crew

'AWESOME SHIRT!'
Strengths:
Looks truly fantastic. It fits so nicely and you don't even know you are wearing it as it wicks so fantastically well. I bought 2 of these in different colours as I was so impressed.
After taking up running again at 35 yrs old I thought I would go for the staid look of basic old school running gear until I rembered that years ago I had a pair of Ron Hill lycra short and they had lasted me years so I took a trip to my local running shop and found that this make was still big in the game, GREAT! I thought, so I purchased a black and yellow one which made me look quite good and this in turn made me feel goood whilst running.
I cannot believe how this wicking science works as it really is magic! Just awesome, however I bought a blue one within 2 weeks as it just feels so nice to wear and looks fantastic.
This does not stick to your body one little bit and is a dream to wear. OK I have gone on long enough.
Great greast and a massive BRAVO!
Weaknesses:
NONE! And that is for real!
Overall:
No, my father is not Ron Hill!!! This is such a great looking and feeling shirt. Makes you feel great and looks the biz. Bravo I say!
