Mizuno Wave Rider 14

'Great Shoe Great Response Fits straight out of box Wonderful ! '
Strengths:
This shoe is the best Mizuno yet ; I am a Mizuno fan I find they stay softer more responsive foe longer than the equivalent ASICS. They have a great feel straight out of the box; a perfect fit great support and immediate improvement noticed on medium to long runs training for a marathon. I have not have to 'wear ' them in, although on teh first run I only did 6 miles , I think I could have run 15 with out ill effect . I Don't know why they've only scored 2.5 in RW official test; did the reviewer have teh wrong size ? I cannot really fault these shoes .
Weaknesses:
Slightly narrow and tight at shoe entry , but ,but but (underline) this is compansated by a 'secure' feel that the ankle is supported. Slightly expensive if you don't get a discount I paid £69.00 for mine which is ~£15.00 off of RRP . No real negatives
Overall:
An Excellent Shoe ! 5 stars ! Light responsive yet takes a 20 mile runs and will take a marathon without feeling too light . Keep up the good work Mizuno. P.S I don't work for Mizuno!

'BEST SHOE '
Strengths:
Very light , no wearing in period i.e soft on the feet from word
Great for speedwork and long runs Fantastic sense of 'spring' in the stride , all round
Weaknesses:
I can't afford a new pair of these very month ! (not that they are expensive I bought a pair for 50.00 on line )
Overall:
Best shoes I've bought since my first pair of 'high tec ' shoes the Nike Air in 1995. They were great straight from the box ; no wearing in period although aI did a few short runs before taclinga 18 miler. No chafing very soft and light but have feeling of great strength. Have done about 160 miles in them and no wear on sole. I would buy another pair tomorrow ! No I am not a Mizuno employee ! The best thing is the sole is not 'dense' ; i bought a pair of Asics last year and the sole does not compare ; it was much more dense .
