Weaknesses: holes inside of 3 weeks - knackered in 6.
Overall: I've been wearing kayanos for 6 years . Ive tried other shoes but never found one as comfortable as the kayanos . BUT the big toe goes through the canvas inside 3 weeks (and no its not my toe nails) The inside heal wears quickly and the strike zone lasts abot 8 weeks. i do run 30 to 50 miles a week but they are very expensive when youve got to replace them every 2 months
Strengths: All in one, no arm band to wear, good software. easily uploaded workouts
Weaknesses: only relevent for running or cycling. don't take it to the gym. Calorie count is calculated by distance travelled not HR . It only has running/cycling/other presets, you cannot define your own.
Overall: initial response is good, its a little bulky but better than wearing a seperate arm band. Has many more features than the Timex version. The heart rate monitor tends to lose signal but this may be resolved in software updates.
