'great off road trail shoe, great grip, fit and comfort at an affordable price'
Strengths: More robust than my previous Roc-lite 315 which split on the upper, the 295 is a tougher shoe. The fit is snug and secure, they flex and grip on muddy trails. They are fantasitically light and provide enough support on uneven tracks. Easy to manage, a quick rinse and they look as good as new. I think great value compared to other products on the market.
Weaknesses: My only small gripe is that they could provide slightly more protection from the wet but at the end of the day when your ankle deep in mud it doesn't make that much difference.
Overall: My second pair of Inov-8 and these are the best. Lighter and better fitting than others I have tried so I shall be sticking with them from now on. I don't use them on the road as they are not designed for that, but use them off road and they are great...4x4 for trail running.
