'Not the lightest racer around but they are fast (and comfy)!'
Strengths:
I'm using these for speedwork and tempo sessions, the faster you can run in these the better the energy return, I am actually loving the action/ reaction technology. I love the bright colour too although it may be a bit flashy for some people! They are extremely comfy!
Weaknesses:
The price is the biggest let down! I have only clocked around 50 miles on mine at the moment and although they are wearing well they do seem slightly less durable than the Newton Motions which i guess should be expected!
Overall:
I really rate this shoe, I prefer to use the motion for longer distance as it is slightly more durable and has a thicker insole! For anything upto half marathon this shoe is great!

'Great shoe but rather pricey!'
Strengths:
Great fit, lightweight, good for midfoot running
Weaknesses:
price and limited availability
Overall:
This shoe took a while to break in and I wasn't sure about them at first but after 100 miles they are my comfiest, most supportive road shoe! I midfoot run naturally so I didn't need to work too hard to get used to them, even so it took a few months before I was happy! They come up quite small so I would order half a size larger than normal!

'great lightweight neutral shoe cushioned enough for long distances.'
Strengths:
Compared to many other rival shoes these are fairly lightweight, yet still cushioned enough for long distances. I completed a marathon in mine as well as all the training leading upto it. I have also ditched my racers since having these as they work well for short fast runs too! These are a great fit and comfy from the first time worn. Being a mid foot striker I love that they don't have the bulky heel of many other shoes. Mine have done over 300 miles now and are still faring well!
Weaknesses:
No real grumbles! Seem to feel slippier on some surfaces (concrete paving slabs) than all of the other road shoes I have had but I've never actually slipped over!

Overall:
Great shoe will be buying the same again!

'Built for orthotics and they fit into them really well, unfortunately the shoe is really heavy. '
Strengths:
Great cushioning and wide last means my orthotics fit really well into these shoes. Would be great for a heavy orthotic wearer.
Weaknesses:
They are very heavy my size 5.5 were nearly 400g each with my orthotics in!!!

I am a forefoot striker and the forefoot sole does seem to have worn out very quickly despite only clocking up around 250 miles!I am only 8 stone too so not a heavy runner.
Overall:
These shoes would be great for a heavy orthotic wearer as the cushioning is superb. They are a bit heavy for my liking.
