Asics Gel Cumulus 13
Posted: 26/09/11
'Great all-rounder'
Strengths:
Comfort over distance & not too heavy
Weaknesses:
The A/W colours of the Cumulus 13 are horrible! Black and Yellow, no thanks!
They tend to become dead and lose responsiveness after 3 months before much wear is apparent on the sole.
Overall:
I've bought the Asics Cumulus for the past 2 years from 11 to 13. As a neutral runner, I can make no complaints with these and think they're great for any distance. I ran London this year in a pair of Cumulus 12's and never got a blister!
The downside, along with alot of runners in Asics range this season are the colours. I cant stand the black and yellow dsign which is what put me off buying a 5th pair of Cumulus. I went for Adidas Supernova Glide 3's but on reflection will be back to Asics next time and will have to live with the colours!
My last pair also lost cushioning after a few months before wear was showing on the sole.

Asics Gel-Cumulus 12
Posted: 21/01/11
'Great all rounder and look the business!'
Strengths:
Great looking runner, durable and good value for money
Weaknesses:
Nothing to complain about with these Asics!
Overall:
I bought the Cumulus 12's in October last year and they're still going really well with minimal wear to the cushioning or soles. I average around 40 miles a week, mainly on roads/pavements and occasionally the treadmill when the weather is too bad. I'm around 9 and a half stone, with a pretty neutral running gait so maybe these shoes do suit me more than they would a heavier runner with a less neutral style.
Comfort wise I really cant fault the Cumulus 12's, I've always been a fan of Asics and these are now my 4th pair with the previous being the Cumulus 11's. I'm hoping I should get a couple more months use from these before they're relegated to doing DIY and gardening in!
I'll certainly be sticking with the Cumulus series and buying the 13's when they're released..
