'Fantastically light'
Strengths:
Very light & responsive
Not mega expensive
Weaknesses:
None for me. Possibly not great for beginners or people with heavy on their feet.
Overall:
I was recommended these by a local running store in Sheffield and it took a couple of weeks to fully appreciate how superior they were to Asics trainers I've had in the past. My Cumulus now feel like I'm running with added weights in.

Asics Gel-Nimbus 12

'Excellent shoe, not much difference to Nimbus 11'
Strengths:
Durable, comfortable, light.
Weaknesses:
RRP fairly pricey but there are good offers out there if you look.
As all Asics, in winter your toes freeze!
Overall:
Not as wide as Nimbus 11, which should suit most people. They are very strong and survived the Warrington Half Marathon / swim 2010!

'Great neutral shoe for wider foot'
Strengths:
Great for people with wider feet
Very comfortable
Weaknesses:
Probably not for people with normal / narrow feet.
Look battered after 200 miles or so (even in summer training)
Overall:
I chose these after having chronic knee and ankle problems with Kayanos. As soon as I put them on in the shop I knew I had the right trainer this time.

Superb shoe.
