Polar S610i
Posted: 09/03/06
'A GREAT PIECE OF KIT...'
Strengths:
…. and a sound training tool, I am great believer on HR training and have had 3 Polar HRMs before my S610i and the S610i has lived up to my expectations.

I have been using this HRM for well over a year now and it Is always reliable, no mater what conditions I am out in, I wear it on the Run, on the Bike, in the Gym and use it as a stop watch while I Swim.

The S610i has bags of memory to record plenty of sessions for those who train frequently but have less time to upload their training to their PC, which is very simple to do on the S610i, and the sample period can be altered to allow even more sessions to be captured before you run out of space, this is really handy if (like me) you train while away on holiday

The unit has an easily readable display and a bright light to allow reading when out on those dark winter nights.
Weaknesses:
The only Negatives as far as the product goes is that I lost one of the Buttons form the watch quite quickly and the training log software that comes with the unit is a bit amateurish and does not live up to the quality of the product.

PLUS I get interference from some, so called Polar Ready Gym Equipment, that cases a false reading of a very high HR
Overall:
BUT All-in-all a great product from Polar and one that I would always recommend
