Strengths: The convenience is great -- the unique sachet design is fantastic; good range of flavours; great balance of carbs, protein and vitamins to aid recovery.
Weaknesses: I find that the flavours of the For Goodness Shakes and powdered mixes and the ready-to-drink product leave a slightly soapy taste in my mouth as if they use an emulsifier to keep the protein soluble.
Overall: I love the convenience of FGS products but the taste puts me off. I've tried a dozen other protein powders (my favourite is Reflex) and FGS powders rank near the bottom for taste (although they are not strictly a protein product). I'll still buy a bottle of FGS from a supermarket if I haven't got my own powder because it's better than any of the soft drink alternatives but the taste good be better.
'Really pleased with the 305 as my first GPS watch'
Strengths: Plenty of advanced features; good battery life; waterproof (but I wouldn't swim with it; picks up satellites fairly quickly; good online site (Garmin Connect).
Weaknesses: If you aren't used to running with a watch, it feels big. Very big.
Overall: I got my Forerunner 305 through Amazon where it was on special offer as this watch has now been superseded by newer models (310XT if you're a triathelete, or 410/610 if you want touchscreen). Bargain.
