Every bit as cushioned as the lunaracer, but with much better support for over-pronators. The light, breathable material at the front keeps feet cool even in summer, and the heel cushioning especially is extremely comfortable. | | Weaknesses: Mesh at front easy to poke holes in with toes over time, no big toe protection. Very narrow. | | Overall: Made as a lightweight racer I use them for most training, because the cushioning is suitable for longer distances. An improvement on past editions and every bit as good as more recent ones. Look great too. |

 | | | Posted: 12/08/11 | | 'The most comfortable shoe I've worn' | | Strengths: Fits very comfortably and snugly, with almost no stitching inside the forefoot to rub, and the most cushioned ride I've experienced. Despite the runnersworld review I felt it was still quite flexible in the forefoot, and very sturdy, although it's not the ideal shoe for intervals or anyone looking to increase speed rather than distance - the Calis are far too comfortable for that! However, the price is very reasonable for a great pair of shoes. | | Weaknesses: Almost too comfortable, if that's possible. | | Overall: I love them, when they wear out I will definitely be getting another pair. |

| | Weaknesses: Chunky, a little heavy Not very responsive compared to others in the class | | Overall: A good distance shoe, great for regular training but for speedwork or anything shorter than 10k a lighter shoe would definitely be far more responsive and suitable. Clunky for short distance, great cushioning and reliability for >10k. |
