Strengths: Simple to set up and use, clear display.
Weaknesses: Accuracy? Riled by my husbands ability to keep his heart rate 10 bpm below mine on his LSR's I switched Heart rate monitors for a day and found I could keep it at least 5 beats lower with no speed decrease!! Which one is right I don't know but they are both polar watches. Aditionally I tend to burn fewer calories than a girlfriend who is lighter than me at the same HR!
Overall: It gives you all the info you need for basic sessions, and as you are looking to improve your own performances if it is a little different from everyone else does it really matter?
