Triumph Tri-Action Workout

'OLD FAITHFUL'
Strengths:
Supportive, comfortable and doesn't rub (within reason)
Weaknesses:
Because it's so comfy I wear this long after it needs to be replaced - not all that sexy either.
Overall:
I was given this one by a proper 'fitter' who told me it was the one given to ladies after a boob job. I was still breastfeeding when I took up running so had very bizarre boobs to say the least - this bra did the trick so it has become my favourite. Still need some body glide over 10 miles though.

Science in Sport Go Gel
Posted: 23/11/06
'PLEASANT AND EFFECTIVE - PERFECT'
Strengths:
Tastes good and no need for water, easy on the stomach and very easy to use while running. Really the best of all I have tried.
Weaknesses:
Slightly larger package than the others.
Overall:
This is the gold standard gel for me, I have a sensitive stomach and find most gels make me quite ill. I have used Go gels through 3 marathons and training sessions and I would't use anything else now.

Garmin Forerunner 305

'BRILLIANT - DOES IT ALL IN A SMALL LIGHT PACKAGE'
Strengths:
Only one watch/receiver. Large screen with great graphics that are easy to see. Simple to navigate all the different functions.
Weaknesses:
Expensive and a bit chunky. Difficult to hide your gadget addiction with this one.
Overall:
Brilliant. Totally love it.

Run Fast by Hal Higdon
Posted: 25/11/05
'READABLE AND INSPIRATIONAL WITHOUT BEING TOO TECHNICAL'
Strengths:
Hal Higdon is a great writer and his love of running comes through in the text.
Weaknesses:
Sometimes I just want someone to say - do this and you will get faster. He probably does say this somewhere but there are so many training techniques mentioned that as a relativly inexperienced runner, I am not sure where to fit all the workouts in.
Overall:
Good read with lots of food for thought. Made me want to try out his suggestions straight away.
