Nike Lunarglide+ 4
Posted: 30/12/12
'An amazing light, comfortable, good looking shoe that will suit anybody looking for a bit of extra support!'
Strengths:
Diverse colour schemes available (inc. Nike ID), breathable, light, comfortable and extremely supportive - the first shoe that hasn't given me blisters or obvious injury.
Weaknesses:
200 miles in and the sole has worn more than I would expect.
Overall:
My first running shoes were New Balance (I forget which model) that were giving me blisters and a nagging hip injury. I decided to try something new and was instantly attracted to the Nike Lunarglide (OG model, black/green). I have been running in this shoe for 3 months and have had not a single blister or injury (caused by the shoe, my gait can make it's own excuses).

I can recommend this shoe to anybody who needs a bit of extra support, the 'lunarlon' material used in the sole provides enough cushioning to correct any irregular landing from the heel to mid foot, and the new 'flywire' technology keeps your foot where it needs to be. I was blown away by how light the shoe was, and when paired with the flywire you could be forgiven for thinking it was a barefoot shoe.

I'm really impressed by the Lunarglide, i'm going to buy a second backup pair for when I ruin the ones I currently have. I'm not sure what Nike will do with the next revision but i'm certainly very excited!
