Strengths: As a basic HRM it is easy to use.I had a F1 for thre years so the swap to a 200 was no problem. The shoe pod is light and you wouldn't even know it was attached to your shoe.16 of you last runs are stored in memory, and 16 of the last weeky totals.
Weaknesses: The instructions regarding zones is a bit vague especially if like me you have been traing using WHR rather than MHR.Occasionally it locks up.Mine did this 10 seconds before the start of the Woburn 10.By pressing all buttons at once it was quicky reset and all esential data was intact.Te biggest problem for me was the accuracy of the pod.
Overall: Polar claim 97% accuracy from the box.I calibrated mine by doin 3.2 k round a running track and it matched a GPS within 100th of a mile until I removed the pod for a race.It then overread a half marathon by over a mile!I recalibrated it twice since then an deach time I have had a different calibration facto ranging from 1.33 to 1.1.at the moment it is pretty accurate but I am reluctant to swap it on to other shoes unless it was permenant for the lifetime of the shoe.
