Overall: I don't know enough about shoe technology to understand what gets modified in each upgrade. I've been wearing these for a while & they're OK but only bought them as I couldn't get the 2120 any more (which was a much better shoe for me). Seem to be firm enough for easy off-road stuff and light enough for road. Decent shoe but not the best that I've ever worn.
