Strengths: Written by a journalist who is a runner - and it shows. He's devoted to his sport and has the skill to express this perfectly. I'd love to follow some of his goals too.
Weaknesses: Not a lot - quite pricey (£8 if I recall) for the paperback, but well worth it for such a specialist subject
Overall: It's a toss-up. Mike Cudahy's "Wild trails" or this one: too close to call for best ever mountain running inspiration
