How soon to getting back to running after broken toe?

Posted: 04/09/2014 at 21:46

Probably depends more on which toe.

big toe engaged more than your little when you push off, so worth making a call on which toe vs. how long  to rest.

Only way to test it out is to go for a run!

Advice on Mizuno please.

The Rider, like the Elixir, is a neutral show so that matches - but will be heavier. The closets match to the old elixir are now the Hitogami or the Sayonara. Both neutral & light, but the sayonara will have a bit more cusioning and is a better day to day light weight trainer, whilst the hitogami is more of a fast paced traner or race trainer. Considering you 'light frame' and daily running i'd go with the sayonara as the safer choice.

mizuno make some great traners, but their website doesn't always keep up with their own shoes so not ideal!

Yep, various splits appearing. The one fault of a great trainer.

Was a Brit, didn't meet them personally. Good event, but take a copy of the course as start can be tricky to find.
