Can't run, won't run. ebay for new legs.

I read your FB race report yesterday Bookie.

I'm preferring swimbling at the moment.

I need a little assistance please!

Glad you are on the mend.

Loved the 'misplaced apostrophe'. Or should that be'?

A hairy story...

Why did all the men in my dream, this morning, have beards?

I don't have a beard.

Wetsuits for short and rounds

Posted: Yesterday at 09:38

Trouble with adjusting only the legs is that the suit will still be too long in the body.

Have you had a look at kids suits? I wear childrens clothing a lot of the time. Shorter in the body, though wetsuits do come in a myriad of different sizes.

Problem I have with wetsuits is that they are too generous on the bottom and too tight on the top.

You can pick up a shortie for the cost of a swimsuit.

Try Wetsuit Outlet

They always have some bargains and a lot of different makes/sizes.

Running vest or running top?

Posted: Yesterday at 09:30

I'd wear a T, only because I've yet to find a vest that doesn't chafe under the arms.
I usually wear a compression top that's designed to keep your body temp constant. That way I can cope with changing temps.

Tea and cake (notice the lower case 'c') is post seaswim nutrition.
Tea after (or during) a winter run would be perfect. Sometimes there's nothing I want more than a nice cuppa.

Sorry I wasn't there. Was trying up until the 11th hr. Everything conspired against me though. Saw some of it on TV. They kept missing the mile 16 and three quarters love station though.

Now if my body could just sort itself out for today. Crap night what with pain and breathing difficulties.

Mile 17 is quite hard to miss. I managed it, as have others. When you are running you often just switch off.

So, it's not quite mile 17. Mile 16.75. Think there will be blue and white balloons.

It's on the right hand side of the road at the top of a little incline, just after the water station - Just - right next to.

There will be a load of people shouting 'Jelly Babies' 'Jaffa Cakes' and general abuse. There will be beer.

Unfortunately much of the route is like that, except nothing like as good.
If we haven't had your orders already, please can you put them in asap. A reminder has gone out today to a few.

We need to know you eta for mile 17
What you will be wearing
What you look like
What are your needs.

um - LB, you done anything about contacting anyone?

Caz, do you know who Adam/Debra Lloyd and/or Kevin Broome 2 are. They don't have messaging on and apart from their single posts on the runners and supporters thread, nada.

Right hand side of the road.

We'll be shouting 'Jelly Babies; Jaffa Cakes; and Get of the bloody phone.'

Right after the water station.
