I've not been on the forum much for a couple of years....got myself a proper job, one where I have to work in the day and not chat on here!!!!

I think the last social I arranged was in Manchester 2 or 3 years ago?  Blimey time has flown!  Anybody up for a get together it will be nice to see all my old mates again as well as meet some of the newer forumites from the north west.

Happy to meet in Manchester, Liverpool or maybe somewhere new!

Yawn.....not another MP3 bashing thread.

I agree with a couple of people, I run for me not for crowd support and unfortunately with the best will in the world I haven't a chance of thanking every single person in the crowd if they shouted my name so I don't understand the point.  With regard to MP3's well there are irresponsible and ignorant people in all sports and I have never witnessed a MP3 wearer being any better or worse than anybody else.

I'll continue to wear one at races if I like and if I get told to stop by a marshall then so be it that will be my problem.

There is a good one based at the Total Fitness gym in Wilmslow.  Give the gym a ring and they'll give you his name.  He does them for footie and rugby players.  A lot cheaper than some other local ones.
