I am running 30 mins and am at about 3.17 miles. But next week (Monday on) hope to move up to 3.5 miles. I have a half in Oct as well

As you say far cry from 20 milers in marathon training eh !! Well done on weight loss I lost 1.5lb in whole of Jan but only ran 26 miles

Ecky agree with MS come over to Monkey Tag Running its a break from just logging the miles. With the weight I just try to cut out crap

MS / B2B Thanks struggling on the two Ns!! though. Well done on the run B2B -Marathons getting nearer !!!

JR Nice report you are doing great and The Grizzly looks a real challenge!

Well two runs this month 3.17 and 2.8 today trying to keep to 30 mins or thereabouts and with no Garmin have to run to nearest road to be able to measure route. Increasing slowly and want to do 4 runs this week. But its hard and so frustrating last January was 113 miles and I was flying stupidly stopped in June now this. Legs feeling really heavy and running laboured. BUT I will get there as you say JR. I am sure as this weight comes off will be easier

New route today and a good one out towards Ibrox stadium home of the Rangers - couple of weeks should see me running past !! Know my way round as I have a ST there. when I make it will put up a pic !!

Your all doing so well and continue to inspire me -

Morning all

that me finished running for the month at 26.83 miles and two letters in the Monkey Tag challenge!!

B2B - Amazing isn't it the speed of these guys. I went out years back to do 1 mile as fast as I could, done it in 6.30 and was truly knackered !!!

This week I have had a big incentive to loose weight. I wore an old Helly Hansen top I bought litteraly years ago and an old running jacket - bloody hell looked like Mr Blobby and everything was tight - not a good look or feel. Not to worried though because as the miles increase and consistency come so the weight will come off as you have said JR

Have a good weekend all
