lol Nicola, I meant Brighton could be 5 hours not do a 5 hour LSR
When I started training for my first (and only) Marathon 6 hours was my first aim and without belittling a 6 hour finish time for anyone I'm sure your training will get you closer to 5 hours Just pace yourself, there is the old saying that a Marathon is a 'race' of 2 equal halves, the first 20 miles then the last 6.2
It's funny but am sure its harder for us slower runners than the faster boys and girls as we are on our feet for much longer.
Had a day off yesterday as I was in Oban all day and still tired from Sundays LSR - today I'm feeling lazy and am going to have to force myself to run
