Just wondered if anyone knew if saucony trainer sizes are comparable across models. Always used the trigons 8and 1/2. If i moved to jazz 12 will they have acomparable fit?

Running on Christmas Day for running Atheist.

maybe steven wont  be running on these days cos he was hung over from the night  before and the ensueing days.

To be honest church or no church? run or no run? eat at home or visit relatives? Drink or drive?

What is the point of all this?

I think it is a time of hope where anything is possible from family reconciliation to new pbs. Or a change of running club or a change of lifestyle.

The point is christmas brings us together in a common cause of good. What else can i think of that does that. oh running.

Stop moaning and just enjoy.

Go and see a sport massage therapist to work through the piriformis muscle. This can often become tight ans swollen putting pressure on the sciatic nerve. This then produces the same syptoms as sciatica. One massage from a good therapsit should treat this. I had the same probelm and after one session it was fine. Look up piriformis syndrome for more info.

Any ideas?

Ran Edinburgh marathon in May. At about 20 miles had strange numb sensation left of centre at base of back. Ever since had cronic pain at that point. Not got any better or worse. it just kills all the time not any better or worse when exercising. Booked docs appoint at last for this wk. Anyone got any ideas?
