TT & CW them kenyans must be stick thin to have a bmi of sub 20. Last time I had a bmi like that was because of 10days of tonsillitis. Currently 22.5. People said "you look ill" before even when I was recovered so might go for 10st 10lbs rather than 10-6.

Just want to get running now if the niggles would kindly bugger off.

homerun - can you get any more interuptions in one session? Bet your glad that ones out the way.

Arrr fairdoes you lot really are a lean bunch. Feeling more motivated to get down to race weight now.

Does anyone on here have a physically demanding job needing upper body strenth ie buider for example. Wondering how people avoid building muscle just by working you see.

Not comparing to others as such CW just gauging what the norm is really, beginning to wonder if having a highly manual job is a significant factor as well as being out in the weather most of the day 5 days a week. thought high mileage would of kept weight in check to a point but still it creeps up, don't want to obsess about weight but would be nice to actually get down to race weight again

Looking forward to seeing how you all get on with upcoming marathons by the way

are all you "sub 3 ers" light as a feather? Thought I'd ask as 60kg (TT's weight) seems to be a very tough target to reach. weekend before last managed to run chester in 2:55:39 for first sub 3 marathon but was heavier than I wanted to be. Currently 12st an want to be about 10st 10lbs which is 10k pb (33:27) weight. How do you guys get so lean?

Speed Endurance for 10k?

PB- is 33:26 from trafford 10k back in march so tough to get near it now. Sooner or later it'll happen. Got Birchwood 10k in August so hoping the weather allows a pb attempt.

Speed Endurance for 10k?

220-age is pretty useless in my opinion. I'm supposedly 198 according to that in reality I've hit several 210-212's and even 213 on one occasion.

Did the Stone 10k today in about 34:00. from gun to just past finish line my watxh said 34:17 but the organisers reckon I took 33:55 so not sure on time. Hurt like hell though as legs were properly sore and stiff from wednesdays short fell run. Idiotic idea that was on wednesday. Feel I ruined a good pb opportunity there. Amaetur. Feel free to hurl abuse

Tarrus elli races all over place mennania. Not sure if he targets certain events like. I enjoyed watching actually. Honestly though the two kenyans have the most relaxed style I have ever seen esp tarrus. He loped along with the highest heel flick I ever saw. Looked like he wasn't breathing aswell. How do they do it? I'm intrigued. He appeared to have a slower cadence than most.
