Is it possible to download this plan as an Excel spreadsheet?

It was the black and blue one, Jim. It looks very swish as a 'normal' watch

I ordered mine (HRM version) on Saturday, received the shipping email at 10pm on Tuesday (stating 1-3 days for arrival) and it was delivered to work at about 10am on Wednesday.

Impressive! Especially as they were advising a 1-2 week delay in stocks arriving when I ordered it.

It's amazingly light and much more comfortable to wear than my bog standard Timex watch. In fact it's so comfortable and light it doesn't feel as if I'm wearing anything on my wrist.

I'm still waiting to go for a run with it though as I'm recovering from a cold.

I ordered mine from Wiggle last week. I'm hoping it might come before Xmas but it's not the end of the world if it doesn't as it just means I don't have to pay for it for a little while.

** BREAKING NEWS **

If you're a gold or platinum Wiggle member there's a one week only discount on every product. 12% for gold and 17% for platinum customers, which brings the Garmin 620 (with HRM) price down to £316.75 for gold customers and even less if you're lucky enough to be a platinum customer.

I really want the Garmin 620, Monty!

Leg update - it was my posterior tibialis that went pop during the marathon (not calf) but my sports therapist has said I can try a gentle run at the weekend. The treatment was very painful last night. But no pain no gain...

Although it's a 'young' race it has already been classified as a bronze medal race by the IAAF and quite rightly so as it's exceedingly well organised. Residents have really got behind the marathon in a big way. Lots of sweets etc on offer and along the leafy residential section there are usually several houses blaring out music to keep us runners entertained.

Well done, Monty. That wind was really tough in places - especially up from Kilmainham Gaol along the that long slightly upwards 'drag'. I really loved running through Phoenix Park.& ChapelIzod. the last 2 miles were fab too - loads of support.

See you at Brighton, Monty. it's my 'home' marathon and I've run every one so far. The support is phenomenal. 3-4 deep along the main part of the seafron just before/after the half way mark.

Be prepared for a couple of hills & some cliff top undulations in the first 8/9 miles.

Good running, SJPC14, and a fantastic PB.

My calf injury was just one of those things, I guess. I was amazed to come in under 5 hours after having had to walk for so so many miles. I'm glad I ran the last 2 miles quite hard to do this as it feels as finishing in under 5 hours is a psychological boost. It was a pretty decent time considering how much I had to walk. Saying that I did have a few bouts of running during that time just to check if my had miraculously healed itself.

It's getting better and I have a physio appointment on Tuesday so hopefully it won't keep me from running for long.

Thanks, guys.

That's now 5 marathons under my belt. It's hard to believe that 5 years ago I never thought I would be able to run 26.2 miles.

Dublin marathon has a really good 'craic' & I may go back again at some point as it's a lovely city.
