Ha ha PB charity races sound ace. Well done Caniggia 4th place eh? No bad for a sunday in November Guess the migraine vanished then or maybe you were trying to run away from it lol

I'm marginally better. For the first time in a week I've managed a couple of cups of tea and a meal! It's been great for that pre-Christmas weight loss so come Crimbo day I look forward to replacing all the calories I didn''t consume this last week. This week I may even considering getting out of bed and more ambitious still may dust off my trainers!!

Yeah it was back to the drawing board from a running shoe perspective rather than reverting back to booties. That said they hold a certain appeal Managed to get sorted out a couple of weeks ago then hurt my foot then got lurgy so whether or not they are any good is anyone's guess

Hey Jac good to hear you're back on the road - keep up the good work   I'm a bit worried though that we've managed to scare everyone away lol   That or they are all busy watching and pledging to Children in Need

howdi folks why is it jus as i get over one thing another comes along to take its place? This time it's the dreaded lurgy which im getting kinda bored of now lol

markk mizuno have indeed arsed around with their shoes and as you point out have increased the area around the heel. its meant to make for a more snug comfortable fit but i found it too high and have had to go back and start again with shoes. so bliddy annoying eh? I've worn Inspires for years and they've been great but I'll never wear another mizuno shoe again unless they revert back - hmph!

schools off today, oh joy! Have youngest and me lurgied so it's no fun for anyone else ho hum

Aye get off the dreadmill it's bad for general running form anyway! And as for 100 days running? Well it's working a treat for OH but sadly wasn't for me. Maybe after 5 months of injury embarking on such a task was a little ambitious however!

Good tactic, let's all run with our arms in the air   I have no idea Caniggia, I'm constantly thinking about how I should/do run and I think that you should run with what's most comfortable. You may gather I have no sports science knowledge  whatsoever.

I know exactly who you mean Markk at Glen Ogle. Very very nice chap and mighty fine runner too. We have them going up to their 70's in the club and they all run faster than me. I'm just hanging around until I'm old enough to run fast too!

Still no fixed my ankle. Blasted thing is driving me insane. Managed 40mins on the turbo trainer today. Trust me it's not the easy option but something at least!

Now waiting on my chippy

Yeah a PB of 3 mins over a half. Where it came from I have no idea but I just went hell for leather and kept going. It may never happen again of course cos now I'm bust lol

Time for bed for me, these late nites are too much. Sleep well peeps

I'm gonna go and kick the dundee half's ass one day you can be sure of that!! I may do the Kirkintilloch Half again cos I ran it 34mins quicker than Dundee and bagged myself a PB in the process. What a difference a few weeks makes eh?!

Ice cream I'll pass on thanks but when there's biscuits particularly of the chocolate variety I'll sniff them out quicker than the vultures sniffed out this poor deid hippo on the telly.

Howdi again just checking the biscuit barrel but it's as empty as my own

Well done at Glen Ogle Markk. Heard it was a good race tho a tad undulating? Next year I'm entering nowt! I wasted so much cash this year on races I didn't run so that's it unless it's (a) free or (b) enter on the day forget it lol

Howdi everyone else
