looking to buy some new ones and wondering is it worth going to a specialist running shop and having analysis done on their treadmill? or is this just to sell you more expensive shoes? i've been using cheap asics ones from sports direct (about £38) for nearly 2 years and not had any problems.

I know there is a parkrun in my area which I can only attend 1 every 6 weeks due to work, but I just wondered how I could find out if there are any running clubs in my area??? I live in Reading, Berkshire.

did 2:03 and it was my first half marathon, is that an ok time? did not walk any of it although wasnt running fast.  i was hoping for under 2 hours as i did 52:30 on the london 10k.  enjoyed the event it was well organised and the weather turned out nice!

New HM pb for me!!!

First HM today (norwich) I did 2:03. Only other timed run I've done was the london 10k in 52 mins. My only aim today was not to stop running and I just managed that. Didn't want to walk any of it. Next time hope to beat 2 hours. Last 2 miles was hard, Enjoyed the day except getting out of the car park!
