Absolutely! You only need to do the Marathon training plan for 16 weeks (I recommend Martin Yelling) You have plenty of time to build a good fitness base for the start of that. Do plenty of research into pacing, nutrition hydration etc. I was about 58 when I did first Marathon (Edinburgh, like coach potato) and i had done quite a few half marathons but forums like this really kept me going. My time was 4 hrs 15 mins and best time 2 years later was 3 hrs 45 mins so PLENTY of hope for you!!
