Ignore above link, very similar looking but they have have mesh lining whereas the ones I wear have the lycra lining. Can't find exact ones but here's another link to other ones but these are expensive.

Similar to these, mines are black. Do you have a nike outlet store near you?

JJ- that's what I wear. I get them from nike and just bought another two pairs as I find them really comfortable to run. Not did a marathon in them but done a 23 mile and no problems. I will be wearing them in Manchester. My local nike outlet store had a 50% discount sale last week and I got them for £9..bargain!!

Don't know where you ran yesterday but the weather across the country has been horrendous so it sounds more like a cold/flu you've picked rather than race run related. Hopefully couple days rest and you will be fine. Take care.

Alanb- fantastic at the nationals, well done! You must be one seriously good runner, I know guys who were running that who run sub 3 hour marathons and you beat them all!!

My daughter ran in the girls u15 and at that stage the course was in some state with plenty more races to come so by your time I know it was a lot worse, horrendous. She finished 38th in a strong field and will still be in that age group next year so ran fantastically, really proud of her.

Surely as well you would be running under the sellers name? It's wrong to sell a number, if the worse happens the organisers would have the wrong info for that runner( unless it can be legally transferred).

Julia- it's not about helping runners, just somethings are not advised.

Take the hit, it happens.

18 miles for me today, ran along the canal to falkirk to watch my daughter in the national XC champs. First 13 miles were relatively fine then the weather changed and just got worse. Watched my daughter absolutely freezing and got to say full respect to everyone competing in horrendous conditions, not my bag though!

Just about defrosted now but happy another 18 miles in the bag. 2x20,  1x23 and 3x18 milers done now so pleased with the training so far.
