Wide fitting trail shoes?

Posted: 20/10/2014 at 16:05

Captain- don't know if you can get to york from Bradford but at the york designer outlets there is an asics store where you could try some on and hopefully get them discounted as well. I was in last week and got asics trail lahar 5 goretex size 9.5 for £33.60. Depending on your size they have a back wall section with prices another 20% cheaper. They did have a decent range of trail trainers with around 30% off retail price.

Also in the same outlet is a nike store and they had a good selection reduced, the one I was considering was air Pegasus 28+ trail for around £48.

Hope that helps.

AM- superb, that's a great new PB. Well done in not so good conditions.

15 miler for me today in terrible conditions, I was blown around like a chip paper and soaked to the bone but loved it. The weather in the north outskirts of Glasgow today is horrendous!

My daughter just bought one this week from aldi! £2.99 and she says it's perfect and wanted one for the same reasons you do.

10.3 miles for me yesterday and like AM it was Hellish. Think last week's HM caught up with me. Prodded on and done it and I suppose a bad run is better than no run!

Consider Manchester? A week before London and a really flat course that's received some excellent feedback.

Great day at the Kirky half marathon today, course record broken and perfect day under the campsie hills for running. Anyone else experience it?

Great day running for me,smashed my pb by over 5 mins to finish in 1.39.41 on a real challenging course. So happy. It gives me confidence that I'm running pretty well just now and if I can keep it going and stay injury free I can sneak under sub 4hrs at Manchester. Would just love that!

Hi pip, well done. Good mileage under the belt and learning all the time so all good. My HM went well today, 1.39.41 absolutely gobsmacked I went sub 1.40, no way I thought I had that in me but perfect day for it.

Having a beer now because I'm gubbed!

Yes been selling Manchester to all my 'fuck off mag' friends as well and now up to six of us now with potential to grow when others get over their reject disappointment!  Some are actually considering the charity route, raising up to £2000 not for me I'm afraid. Experienced London and loved it but I'm sure Manchester will be great.

kirkintilloch HM for me tomorrow( north outskirts of Glasgow) tough hilly challenging route so can't say I'm looking forward to it.
