Did the Stirling 10k in 44.29. Happy with that, no pb but close so a good run out and a good tee shirt. Like it when you get a good tee shirt that you will wear again for running!

Hi all, good running pip! Nice 10miler, always feels good getting into the double digit miles!

I did the Stirling 10k today in 44.29 and happy with that, 2nd quickest 10k I've ever done and 20secs away from a pb so good days running. Did a wee 4 mile cool down afterwards to get mileage up a bit.

Half marathon on 05/10 then marathon training for Manchester so plenty to keep me running!

Thanks Carter, good advice. I'm at half marathon training just now, 10-12 miles Sunday long runs. HM on 5th Oct then I'll look at marathon step up soon after that. Thanks again.

See the 5 x 20milers in your plan when would you fit them into say a 18 week plan? When I did London I only did 2 x20milers and I know that wasn't enough so want to do more and even a bit more mileage up to 22 miles a couple of times but would you do the first 20miler say week 10 then 12,14 and so on?

No need to for me to lighten up, it's actually stereotyping and I wonder if you would lighten up if you were stereotyped in anyway. Xenophobia.... why have you the fear?

Anyway nice 8.5 mile run tonight in Glasgow, currently still part of the UK!

How much will it cost each taxpayer in Britain if independence happens? The remainder of 'great' Britain won't have the tax revenues from the oil and whisky industries so the English,Welsh and Irish taxpayer will pick up that shortfall.

Never ever painted my face blue or ate a deep fried mars bar but came across arrogant little racist  twats like you often and maybe one day if you grow a brain cell you can take part in this adult grown up conversation!

By the way I know how to join the dots and put a X in the NO box!

Proud to be scottish, just as proud to be British!!

Hi cake, I use a bag and yes over my left shoulder. If I'm active, ie running or working its not as bad, it's more when I'm idle or just sitting around watching tv etc. Physio is helping, have different exercises to do and when I go to physio on Thursday I've to go in my running kit and run on the treadmill because he wants to see how my posture changes when running as running seems to help with the shoulder/neck.

Kirkintilloch half marathon is the same day if anyone wants to come and support a local club run. Nice friendly organised race, cheaper with nice scenery and a proper tech tee shirt for all finishers. Sadly numbers have been affected since GSR moved their date from Sept to Oct.

Lol......'man the fuck up' is more appropriate!. Love you question, am I eating enough..... you seen my user name!!

Average mileage around 25 miles a week but also a postman so on my feet a whole lot more, don't do gym work but calfs and glutes get a proper workout through stair climbing, reckon my job offers a different kind of cross training.

All my pains are down the left side and I'm very left sided in everything I do, there's nothing really to worry about, I just need a boot up the arse!

Having physio on my neck/shoulder at the moment and the other issues I think are just related to that.

I'll man up

Loved the 2160's, best trainer for me. Sadly asics seem to have changed things for changes sake. Maybe look at the Pegasus next.
