Damn, live race trackers should be de-invented

Did outlaw 2 years ago. Chip came off with wet suit. Despite telling marshals at every check point I was still classed as dnf, despite lots of photo and video of me finishing. If you lost him after t1 I bed his chip is in with his suit.

Married to a gp. Most know very little about exercise let alone long distance tri. I always laugh when a mag article covers itself by saying you must consult your gp before embarking on an exercise programming.

I often ask the wife for a fitness test (most nights). If. You think getting a letter to do Paris is hard, you have no idea.

Any one out there doing this on sunday?

Sea swim, hoping for massive surf to level the field a bit.

Bike looks fast.

Kielder (iron distance) Triathlon 5th July 2015

Just seen this advertised by high terain events. Looks good, tough course. limited to 300 entrants and cost of £180.

Sound as if swim would be quiet compared to buisy races, so less of a fight.

If 20-30 pirates were to do it we could have 10%+ of the field!

Tempted to enter and tell wife next year.

Hadrian's Wall 2014

Tried out a ratio or 8:2 this weekend. Seems to work and have a bit of time to eat/drink.

Booked a hotel and one way train ticket. (I live in Newcastle)

No going back now.

Ok silly question I hope you are all talking about minutes 4:1 and not miles.

Started using last pair of new trainers out of the wardrobe yesterday. Exactly the same as old ones so hopefully no probs.

Will do last big weekend on 7th/8th. Then start to wind back.
