I'm close to Luton Airport, so I've booked flight to Ljublana with WizzAir (including bike). May hire a car at Ljublana Airport, or just go with bus/train to Klagenfurt - still thinking about that one!

Bike carriage cost £24 each way with WizzAir.

Hi Bob - whilst the MDC is a great charity be aware that very little of the money raised is targeted to Duchenne and even less to research. Hopefully you can jump on board with targeting funds at a member of the Duchenne Alliance so the funds can go towards finding a cure.

It was my friend's decision to support MDC and so I will continue to support him and his family in this. Overall we are going to be raising awareness and funds to help find a cure for Duchenne and other types of Muscular Dystrophy, so that has to be a positive no matter what individual charity we pin our colours to.

Good luck with the fundraising and for the future.

I'm going to be raising funds again for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign. Last year a friend's son was diagnosed with Duchenne, and he ran the MK Marathon, whilst I did the Outlaw Half and cycled London to Paris. Will be doing IM Austria this year and possibly another cycle challenge to raise funds again. Good news ifthe Pirates are onboard as well, the more the merrier!

Made it as far as Bukit Timah on Singapore. Quite fitting as my Father (Bob) served there in WW2!

Saturday morning bimble gave me 1,358 feet of climbing, which gave me a cumulative level of Niue (wherever that is?). Never thought a quiet couple of hours riding through the Bedfordshire countryside would equate to climbing high points on such exotic locations.

Nice idea WildWill! Adds some more interest to rides, thinking of the next places to tick off the list. Not sure I'll ever get to Everest though!
