Morning all, I must admit I don't always find the time to post on here these days. A bit like SeeJay, Facebook seems to have taken over insofar as posting about running. I've managed 6 runs since I last posted. Sorry for the short message, I'm trying to keep on top of things both workwise and at home before I head off to Crete at the end of next week.

I hope you're all well and have a good day.

Good going Nessie!

4.45 miles for me on Tuesday and 6.05 miles last night. There's a small group of us planning a run from Bitton Railway Station tomorrow morning. My distance could be anything between 6 and 8 miles, depends who I run with.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Seems like ages since I last posted on here

Nessie, I really do not know how you manage to fit so much into your life.

Well to bring you up to date, last Tuesday 5 miles in 41:01 (ave 8:12), Thursday 6.05 miles in 51:27 (ave 8:30), Saturday 7.12 miles in 59:56 (ave 8:25) and last night 3.07 miles in 25:59 (ave 8:28).

4+ miles for me tonight, helping my better half to get back into it. Unfortunately the recent hot weather didn't agree with her running!

Have a good day everyone!

No need to be worried Nessie, everyone has their own pace. You would have been more than welcome!

Morning all

Not good news Kev, but at least you know what it is now and how you can treat it.

Nessie, sounds like you got some good training in. Pity you couldn't join us yesterday but maybe next time.

Well since I last posted, I've managed 2 outings, 5.30 miles last Thursday in 45:36 (ave 8:36) and 8.05 miles yesterday in 1:11:49 (ave 8:55). Last Thursday was so hot, it really did take it out of me. Yesterday's run was just what I needed! I ran the cycle path from Bitton out towards Bath and back with Seejay and a friend of mine, Ally. I've not run 8 miles since May, so it was really good to get that distance under the belt again, a real confidence booster. The second bonus was that Seejay kept the pace really steady, which was just what I needed. The third bonus was meeting Seejay again (always a pleasure)......oh, and the post-run bacon butties!

I'm looking at a short and steady recovery run tonight, just to flush the legs and then maybe a 5 miler tomorrow.

Have a good day everyone!

Hi Ness

SeeJay is in training for Bristol & Cardiff ½'s, so he's looking to run 8-9 miles. I'm hoping he'll agree to 8

Morning all.......Some impressive miles being logged on here  I'm not in the same league, but have managed two runs since I last posted. 6.08 miles on Saturdya in 50:50 (ave 8:22) and 4.11, last night in 34:01 (ave 8:17). Another run planned for tonight, hpefully to get my monthly target up.

Looking forward to running again with SeeJay on Sunday, we're running from Bitton Railway Station at 8:30, if anyone wants to join us!

Have a good day everyone!

Morning all......Well, two runs since I last posted, 2.43 miles on wednesday in 20:02 (ave 8:15). A recovery run that turned into a rempo one  and last night 4.67 miles in 38:46 (ave 8:18). I think I really need to reel my pace in a bit as I do get a bit carried away Anyway, a rest day today before my planned 6 miler for tomorrow. My new 30 day challenge starts on Monday as well.

Have a good weekend everyone, whatever you get up to

Morning everyone...... I still don't know how you manage everything Nessie, but well done!

5 miles for me last night and it did feel hard. Really didn't have much in my legs, I guess it must just be the heat. Ran it in 42:56 (ave 8:34). Looking to run a shorter one tonight.

Have a good day everyone!

Good running Toby and Nessie, I really don't know how you manage to cram everything into your life!

Well I haven't run since last Thursday. I had every intention of getting out over the weekend but I just got into camping mode, relaxed and enjoyed it! Back out poinding the streets tonight and I'm still on target for 750 miles this year. Trying to geta bit of a buffer behind me as I'm going to Crete in September and son't expect to be running then, but you never know.

Have a good day everyone!
