MC - well done. Must have been tough running past the finish but good effort to keep going! Will check out the rambling version later!

morning..

10k this morning - still have a sore achilles and swelling where the tendon meets the heel. So went against my own advice and took ibuprofen before running. Feels a bit better now!

Morning

SOC run and swim later.

Have to take younger son to the fracture clinic this morning for follow up x-ray. He fell out of a nightclub in Nottingham a couple of weeks ago and broke his wrist in two places.

Morning..

5:30 - you were just in front of me by 5 minutes on Sunday! And well done Valis on a great time.

Agree that smaller races are preferable but still enjoyed the atmosphere and support at Brighton. Nice to do a big race like that every now and then.

Back to SOC running tomorrow but will be out on the bike today.

Morning..

Kate - it went as well as expected. Kept with the 3.45 pace makers up until 17/18 miles and then the painkillers wore off and my heel/achilles injury kicked in. So the pace dropped off dramatically and went from 'comfortable' to 'slow' to 'shuffle'! Finished in 4.37. No run today as I can barely walk! James knocked 20 minutes off his pb and finished in 3.37.

Haven't posted here for a while..been busy and got out of the habit. But ran the Brighton Marathon today and caught a fleeting glance of Valis heading in the other direction at about 17 miles in. Hope you had a good run Valis!!
