AF - totally random question time!

Where you able to take you beetroot juice to Berlin? I'm doing Barcelona in march & I know I won't be able to get it in Spain

Have you thrown up while running?

I barfed after the Glasgow Women's 10k earlier this year - felt it coming about 8k & managed to hold onto it until I passed the line. Not pretty or attractive, but boy did I feel great once it was up

Have also come close to it a couple of times since, but have no wish to repeat that performance!

I too used orthotics online - they have been great

I recommended them to my boss & she was delighted too.

Sprouts - I'm going for a run at lunchtime today, so I will def see if your theory is right!

Sprouts - yes I run mostly on road surfaces.

Interesting theory that you have! Who knows?

Either way, PF is a bugger!

I went for 8 miles along the canal bank on Sunday - could feel my foot seizing up all day yesterday. I def think the surface you run on has a lot to do with it. I can do a half-marathon no problem now, as long as it's a road race, however anything else just kills my foot completely. Weird

Sprouts - I had PF in both feet for a while.

Started in both at the same time, however the left one cleared up within a matter of weeks.

The right foot however - it's taken a bl**dy year to go!

Re the Asics - similar to me. My PF problems started when I switched from New Balance to Asics.

Whether or not they contributed to the PF, I don't think I'll ever really know, but I now have it in my head that they are associated with my PF. I think I always will now link the two. Funny that I never had any problems until I changed trainers

I went through 4 different pairs of Asics, hoping that each kind would contribute to a cure. As well as being out of pocket, they never did help!

I now run in Mizuno Wave Riders, and they seem to be ok. I don't think I'll ever go back to Asics - they are forever associated in my mind with pain!

Are female runners affected each month?

I def feel more tired, sluggish & slower a day or two leading up to TOM, and then for a couple of days during.

The week after though I feel great & feel as if I'm running really good
