Ha ha. And don't forget those cobblestones!

It's a good race so definitely on the radar. I have my first race since Lincoln last year in 4 weeks time and am way off fitness but don't really mind as I'm just pleased to be running again.

Congrats WJ and Bob. Great report Bob and sounds a lot harder than when I did it last year when i managed to die a death in the last mile without any headwind!

Back in the swing then TR. I'm finding it slow going as my heel still isn't perfect but am managing 3 easy runs a week, 2 or 3 bikes and a swim or two...so not all doom and gloom.....and I hate football..

Had shockwave therapy which has pretty much cleared up the plantar if I didn't have to run.  But I do and I am albeit slowly and 3 times a week for now. Feel most unfit. I'll know when I can up the ante!

Bob, Lincoln last year was my last race. Got a small p.b but it should have been better as the course is a cracker. Undulating, but in one of those quick ways i.e the ups don't slow you and the downs are freewheeling. You'll do good.

Phil, I've won a free place for GEAR through work which is ironic given I've not run for 7 months. Also, there's a pub right on the finish line which sells cheap cask ale so that might influence your decision!

Ric. I suspect we are of a similar ilk albeit you are slightly quicker and drink  less.
