Chiltern Way 200k

Hi Lindley

Sorry to be a pain but I haven't been able to download the gpx maps you've put on the website, due to software issues.  Is there any chance you can send out a set of the laminated maps that we'll be using on the day so that I can have a look before race day?  If you let me know your email address I'll send you my postal address.

Many thanks

Lindley, do you know what the fastest recorded time is for the whole Chiltern Way route?  Not suggesting that I'll be trying to beat it.  I'd just be interested to know.

Getting excited about this now.  Anyone else out there doing it?

Great, thanks Lindley.  If the actual race maps are ready before August, then it would be brilliant if you could send them out a bit early.  I'm hoping to recce the route in two stage: one at the end of June and the other at the end of July.

Thanks again, and enjoy running the route.

Hi Lindley, just entered your race as my main challenge for next year.  Very excited.  Couple of questions.  Do you know what the total elevation gain / loss is over the course?  And can you recommend a good route map?  I just got a map of the whole route for Christmas, but the scale is so big that I don't think it's going to be much use.  Is there an equivalent map for the Chiltern Way to the Harvey maps for the National Trails? Thx. David

I'll be manning the Henley aid station next week, so I'll make sure there's plenty of signage, and some nice goodies when you arrive! Look forward to seeing you guys next week. Very best of luck.

This sounds brilliant.  I'm not going to be able to take part as I've planned my running around building up to 100miles in June 2012, and I won't be ready by March.  If anyone is looking for a pacer to run the last 50 miles with them though, please let me know as I'd love to do it.
