Quality, supportive road racing shoes for over pronators

Brooks Racer ST5 is a flat with a touch of support. Not that light for a flat, but very durable! Top shoe, and pretty cheap for how much mileage I get out of them.

You have priority in this situation. It's their job to look, and their problem if they have to wait.

Lancaster marathon

The route really is pretty brutal and you can expect to run significantly slower than on a course like Manchester. As long as you don't burn yourself out on the longer climbs though you should be ok, you've proved you have the endurance when you did Manchester!

Talkback: Run to lose

Trivial point. You might as well say nothing weighs more than anything else if the initial quantity is determined by weight.

dublin or loch ness marathon?

Posted: 31/05/2013 at 10:33

In 2011 I did Loch Ness in 3:15:00, then 4 weeks later did Dublin in 3:12:27. Dublin is a more generic profile so it easier to pace yourself, whereas as Loch Ness has so many steep downhills and long climbs that it's difficult to know how fast to run in the first half. You CAN always them both; 4 weeks is long enough to recover for another flat out effort.
