Good weekend running all and a special mention to Nessie and SB.

Nessie - great report, fantastic time and a huge achievement. What's next?

SB - fantastic time mate. You must be super chuffed. Where on earth do you go from here? 2:45?!!!! £20 to a charity of your choice is owed I do believe.

Me - 5 miles x 2 Sat and Sun. Standard route on Saturday, Ashtead common on Sunday.

Hola

Good work marshallini, Matt and JT. Swittle get well soon. Where's the streak at now?

5m at conversational pace last night with SB for my first forum meet up run! We put the world to rights and chatted about VLM, which SB is looking in good shape for. Good luck to you and Ness for the weekend!

Hola all

We ran the local parkrun on Saturday and I managed to negotiate the numbers with the buggy and Arthur. There were 450 runners! (150 was the tops when I used to run the Cheltenham one regularly) The first lap was slow and a bit stop-start-y. We manager to get round in 24:17 and won the buggy race of 4!

Hello

Excellent prep work SB and Nessie. Sounds like you're both on course for ace PBs. Especially Nessie

7.2m this morning, run easy. Longest run in a month. Felt fine. Unsure how much fitness I've lost really. Parkrun in the morn with the boy in tow. Fell in front.

SB - I'll be in Daresbury/Warrington area next Weds pm / Thurs AM if you fancy a VERY easy taper run somewhere in between there and you?

Hello strangers

I've been super busy with a very hectic life the last couple of months. Only managed 2 or 3 runs a week over this period and life is still pretty crazy. 5.5m yesterday morning with Arthur leading the way in the buggy! He loves it.

I've come back to mix at taper time. Are we feeling confident Nessie and SB? SB, I think I made a bet with a donation for a sub 3. Should I be dusting off my wallet?

I've been doing Pilates for 18 months and I still cant touch my toes sitting down. My hams will never be back to that era I fear!

Birky - sad news mate. Sorry to hear.

Me - intervals 8 x 400m with 60sec recs.

Good work everyone. I'm glad of the thaw too.

Nessie - have you tried the right Pilates class? Some can be far more strength (and banter-y) related rather than relaxing!

Sun - 10 miles easy.

This morning - 7m easy. Nearly trod on a fox. Fun times.
