I do have to hide them well JR, otherwise the kids pinch them.

No running for me all week as been so busy. Week off next week so can get out more.

Hi Franny, yes its great fun and makes me run a little bit more so I can find the letters. Well done on your run today too, loved the pics.

Hi Mathschick, fab running from you too, I cant wait till I can clock that mileage again.

Good weekend of running for me though with my fastest parkrun of the year. Nothing for me today though as got a huge piece of homework that's due in tomorrow. I keep getting distracted

It was JR and not my best idea, it was the movement of it rather than the weight. He did raise over £1,500 though which was more than we expected. We had Trev donated but as he was over 40 years old, we couldn't raffle him so needed a different idea. He is now retire from running and lives in my friends gym . Well done on your run too, I love long runs along the canal although I do struggle with the gels sometimes so stick to jelly babies.

You are right 330, one of the best for mad costumes . I always wanted to do London just once. Trev the teddy was so much fun and got so much attention. I did hear Bear behind a few times. He gets around and has done Birmingham half with my friend, one leg of a 24h race and the odd parkrun. Well done on the miles too, feels great to build up again doesn't it?

RC yes indeed, as a cold weather runner, I can never imagine running in such heat. Hope you get your injury sorted soon.

Chuffed with my best time for parkrun so far this year and a nice 30 min pootle today and the letter N.

Thanks JR, I would like to do another marathon one day, I'm after a sub 5h although my time was hindered last time by carrying this. Not my smartest moment as being unbalanced for so long gave me my injuries.

Thanks Jude and Franny, feeling much better now. I managed a little pootle today. I've joined a thing on facebook called Monkey Tag running where they do challenges. Its great for motivation. I'm doing a scrabble challenge at the moment where I have to find all the letters of Bananas and take a pic. Its great fun trying to find letters on objects that I run past. It may make me run further afield too.

Thanks 330, well done on your Jan miles. I just get so frustrated as I work so hard at running but then have major blips where I'm injured. To be fair though I really did fall out of love with running. I started after a very tough time back in 2007 and just loved it. I even ran in a local ladies team for a few years and then last year BOOM, I couldn't muster up any enthusiasm for it at all. My mood is so much better when I run and my hubby was desperate for me to get back out there again . We will get there though. I'm loving the monkey tag challenges, its making me think about getting out there.

B2B and 330, thanks, I have joined you monkeys and cant wait to start building up my bling. I have recovered from my stinky cold now so I'm hoping to collect my B tomorrow. 

I'm really chuffed as I lost 2.5 lb this week even without running much which is 11.5lb I have managed to shift since just before new year. I too am running around 30 mins 330, the distance depends on how I'm feeling at the time. I managed a 5 miler last week which seems a far cry from my 20 milers when I was marathon training.
