Great new Garmin 610

Posted: 02/12/2011 at 13:15

I had a 110, and upgraded to 610, I wear it as an every day watch now it is awsome.

The Virtual Partner function is my particular favourite  additional feature.

As a beginner the 110 was perfect, how far and how fast was all I needed. Now 610 all the way...

Don't stress about a fast time, enjoy the first half while you can remember it. Yes you wil run an extra half mile high fiving the kids,  but they deserve it for supporting us. and whatever you do dont let you family take you for a celebratory drink afterwards, just get back to your hotel asap and start recovering..

I have heard that it is really good with no issues with the touch screen. The Nike Watch will be available from the TomTom & Nike websites from early April, it will defo be over £150. It wil have a 'soft' launch in the UK at first, to drive purchases through the Nike store. It may be may be  availble from more high street retail/etailers from May/June.

Yes, well done everyone, I was also late, trains and stuff. I started with Elvis and finished with the chicken.
I was a minute down on my splits by a full minute at 2k due to the congestion, so I decided to settle for a steady pace.
The shade at 8&9k was most welcome .
I finished in 64 minutes.
I hung around at the end for the awards, had a chat with Richard Bacon.

The guy in the wedding dress won a prize at the end for the best costume.
