Dying to know that too. 1st time applied and very excited but keep having flashes of panic if I actually manage to get a place. Never dashed so quick to greet postman as this last few weeks.

hi Dezza,

I did Blackpool half this year as my first. Was great, really friendly, totally flat, roads closed to traffic, nice medal and t-shirt plus there was a really wide mix of finishing times. I will be back again this year. Can't praise it highly enough. There's an event website :o) they're aiming for 5000 entries in 2005! Huge!

Not an authority as it's the only one I've done yet so will be interested in other peoples suggestions!

Injured knee + got a place for GNR...

Do you recon they'll ever bring back chorlton + the wheelies? They've done it to postman pat....

Shall we write in to cbeebies?

Wanders off mumbling incoherently....

Hello you two! :o)

Keeping well? You're right about the old choccy cake Muzzy... just had to hand my notice in at Thorntons - just can't resist the blessed stuff and lets just say I'm not getting any slimmer working there :o( Probably a contributory factor to the knee.

Right! Whats the worst that can happen, I'm gonna break the rules for once in my life!

There - wonder if they delete it...

I have injured my knee and so will not be able to take part in the GNR.

I hate to see a place go to waste but can't see an official way of passing it on, indeed is it not strictly forbidden...? Ahem!

Any suggestions....

Do you know, is it true whether they allocate a certain number of runners to each time bracket to spread them out?

Is that an urban myth?

Will I come last?

Sorry - meant whenever I race, duh!
