Make sure you go to the beach at Salinas too.  Unbeliveable place!

Cycling/running in Ibiza?

I did a bit of running when on holiday in Ibiza. Bloody hot, so do it early or as the sun goes down. Beautiful island, hilly in north and east. Flat near the airport and salt flats. Saw quite a few hardcore cyclists while there. So depending on where you stat, I'd take your shoes.

Fine in which case I apologise.  But I have seen a lot of people sign up to forums like this to chase details which help them construct a story beyond the offical public line.  You have only posted on this topic, so I was suspicious.

Cathy

Can you assure us you're genuine and not chasing a story?

I would be very surprised  if the family aren't being given the fullest possible information possible by the authorities

Take a taxi to Blackheath or the 436 to Lewisham, which stops right outside your hotel. If you approach from the Blackeath side you can get right up to the common on race day. I live near your hotel and did the marathon last year.

Only way I can avoid this is going for a dump three times before I run. Cup of coffee to get things going and then I'm off an hour later with a voided colon!

Dulwick 10K - PB potential??

Posted: 19/09/2011 at 19:42
I know the area as I do my long runs in and around dulwich park. The park has a long tarmacced road inside it which is a good running surface. It's on a very slight hill, which you can feel going up and down. But I'm a plodder so reckon a good runner would barely feel it and could easily get near a PB. The club is well respected, so i'd imagine the race is well organised.

I used to live near murder mile. Great urban running round there, along the Lea.

3 out of my 4 weekly runs are to work. Peckham to Chancery Lane. Very urban. Like it though. A lot of people seem to run to work in London.
