Just a Little Bit Further - 2014

Oooooooooooooo Mathschick I was wondering when your debut marathon was. Just take it easy this week and get to that start line .......and then just that wee jog to the finish  Seriously thought just enjoy the day and stick to your plan. Soooooo exciting for you Nothing beats a 1st marathon feelling when you finish WHICH YOU will.

Jude Hope your week passes quick.

Just a gym today for me...weights and stuff.

Looking forward to watching the London Marathon on Sunday....Lainey and Nandy will need to let us know your numbers so as we can track you. Afew folk in my club are doing it and I had so much fun last year tracking them.

Think I will try and enter for next year.. When does the entry line open for the ballot as I have never entered before and would hate to miss it.

Hope everyone is well.

Have a good holiday Mathschick.

AF Hope your legs feel less achey tomorrow so as you can have a run.

Morning all

Well Done Boss on your PB marathon at Brighton. Huge congratulations.

No PB for me at 10k yesterday but a course PB by 1 second and was in the top 10 for my age category. Was very windy at parts. Son Kenny stared out far too fast and sort of burned out BUT he did finish it in just over the hour which is no bad going for doing absolutely no training He is hurting a bit today I have to say.

Mathschick Sounds like you are having a relaxing time...enjoy

Ecky sounds like a good decision as you need time to yourself to do what you want/need to do.

Weights session at gym this morning

Hope everyone has a good day

Ecky Fantastic boost getting a Parkrun PB Well done Histio Lady

Nandy Well done on your 8.5 miler and hope your tapering goes well this week. Cannae believe London has come around already.

Nandy Its a road race 10k Not sure I will PB though Oh and my son decided he was doing it with me AND he hasn't done any running training  Could g one of two ways Either he will set off too fast and run out of steam or he will BLAST it. He will probably beat me too Ha ha...should be fun...will let you all know what happens.

Have a good day everyone

AF Loving your tapering

Jude Sounds like a beautiful run.

Chilli well done to No 2 girlie on her PB

Have a nice day everyone Not been great weatherwise up here. Very dull, damp and misty.
