tbh, even as a relative newbie I don't think I'd miss anything if I let my subscription go and learn much more from t'interweb than RW Mag.
Nice 'article' though am not sure how many people would run 1,000 miles in 1 pair of shoes but sounds like it would be expensive for you if you didn't
And as for the keen jurnos, aren't they resposible for lots of the stickies? (read lazy jurnos). But your correct, even after 18 months I rarely see something new in the mag and the amount of time I spend at the docs (carer duties) I get to read all sorts.
I still pick up the mag in Sainsburys and flick through it, and there is some good stuff in there still, but not enough for an experienced runner to feel involved in. As for the 1000 miles, yes I did it and that pair of running shoes lasted the distance, but subsequent ones didn't. I also felt that I really gave something back to RW by pacing for them as there are very few faster women pacers, but now it seems to be a job for the boys...
